Keep on Keep'n On

Posted by: Freda at September 6, 2006 09:26 PM

so i don't want to be selfish or anything...but i would much rather see you guys without SN. are you still planning on a fall tour...like with YOU as the headliner? i will not be able to stand it if they choose dilana. i cannot stand her voice, and magni's isn't really anything to write home about. nice guy. toby would be worth seeing, but i would rather see TPC for more than 30 minutes...okay, i will quit whining now.

Posted by: MoonRider613 aka heather at September 6, 2006 09:54 PM

I am so disappointed that TPC is touring with Supernova. I have no interest in seeing SN. I did want to TPC, but I'm not going to pay SN ticket prices $$$ or endure their music just to see TPC. It doesn't matter anyway, since the tour isn't coming to Albuquerque. I know there was a lot of talk by Dave and Steve in interviews about playing small clubs for a couple hundred people, which apparantly then made TPC a band of a couple hundred members, while building a fan base, etc. I hope that there will still be a small club tour before or after the SN tour.

Posted by: Erica at September 6, 2006 10:24 PM

It seems that I'm not alone in having no real desire to see SN.

But let me tell you I'm not about to pass up the chance to see TPC in Toronto @ Massey Hall on Jan 24.

Posted by: Shelly at September 7, 2006 12:25 AM

That is awesome but can TPC PLEASE come to Sydney!

Posted by: Nicole at September 7, 2006 03:11 AM

wow, that is a shock! TPC should definitely headline, but either way I'll stick around and watch Supernova, although if Lukas is singing, i might have to duck out early :P
after watching the recent webisodes, I think Toby might get it.. but i wouldn't mind seeing Storm Large sing Said You'd Be with you guys!

Kudos on the pics Steve. They make us really get the feel of what you guys are going through. I also love the purple on the website, very cool.

I think it's a great move touring with Supernova. This will be the production of the year and it all started with Dave Navarro's executive skills. I can't wait to see The Panic Channel in Detroit!!!

Posted by: Serpentesss at September 7, 2006 04:24 AM

Oh Yeah!!! Can't wait to see you in Norfolk,Va. What a way to kick off my new year. Lots of love to you guys. Love a Peach

Posted by: mary corso at September 7, 2006 05:46 AM

WOW If you guys can come to the UK then yes! amazingness

Posted by: Mark at September 7, 2006 05:52 AM

Well I was afraid to say that I have no desire to see SN, but I guess I am not the only one. I agree TCP should headline. You guys rock

Posted by: Stacy at September 7, 2006 06:10 AM

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this whole touring with Supernova blows!

I could give a crap about Supernova I care about The Panic Channel.

Posted by: Robin (Peebs) at September 7, 2006 06:29 AM

Will try to catch TPC in Chicago in February 2007. It won't be as intimate as The Double Door or Hard Rock, and I'll take my fix any way that I can get it.

Posted by: Bri@n at September 7, 2006 06:46 AM

I cant believe it. I seriously cant contain my excitement. Cant decided which to do Des Moines or Chicago (I live in KC). Maybe I will do both!!

Posted by: Niki at September 7, 2006 06:47 AM

Dave, you seemed really pleased last night that The Panic Channel will be touring with Supernova, so I hope you get the big concert exposure you deserve. Down here in little ole Atlanta, a venue that Supernova decided to skip, we will just have to make do with our memories of touching you at the Roxy! Maybe you can work with the Supernova guys in the meantime and help them write some decent songs. Or, just show them up on the tour!

Love,
Moongoddess

Posted by: Lynn at September 7, 2006 08:16 AM

I would love Love LOVE to see you guys and SN but with Montreal sold out I can't quite afford the trip to TO right now sonce I just bought a house that needs a lot of work. Don't suppose you guys could convince SN to come to Halifax NS too or even just you guys come to Halifax to play we have some wicked clubs down this way? I mean right now I live in New Brunswick but I could do HFX ;) and you could probaly get a sold out show here.

Posted by: Michelle at September 7, 2006 08:48 AM

Looking forward to the Phoenix Show in February!!! SN should be jammin by then. It will be our daughters first 'rock' concert. RHCP was my other daughters first show, this past August. That rocked my world big time. We've watched Rockstar from the beginning, even last year, Mig fan, this year rooting for Toby, Lukas, then Dilana, no Magma. Lost interest in Dilana when she started putting her name in songs. I would post on the Vent site, but I think it is closed and someone spammed it really bad. My one and first post is gone anyway, early am hour, wasn't the best post, guess someone took it off. Take care Dave, thanks for the comment availability on your site. Best of wishes, like my new name???

I already had tickets to the show... and it just got better! Can't wait........

Just bought my tix last night after the big annoucement. Can't wait to see you guys in Oakland in Feb 2007! Screw SuperNova, I've been DYING to see TPC ever since I bought your album, which by the way, IS KILLER! Love you guys!!!!

Posted by: Jen at September 7, 2006 10:21 AM

I can admit that I'm addicted to Rockstar:whoever (INXS last year, Supernova this and whoever they get for next year), but I wasn't interested in seeing Supernova live in concernt (especially if Lukas wins)...

... but as soon as the Panic Channel announcement came.. I'm in.

See you in Pala @ San Diego

By the way.. that Pala ballroom sucks. It's just a big conference room. I saw INXS (w/ JD) & Lovehammers there last year. It was a nice little place, but just not really "rock worthy".

Posted by: SoCalDaveBandito at September 7, 2006 10:47 AM

Kewl! I can do San Diego and Long Beach.

Posted by: Michael Malediction at September 7, 2006 12:04 PM

Are we a bunch of complaining bitches or what!!! Totally don't want to rain on your parade cause this is a glorious op for you guys...just not what us die hards expected. So hopefully the goood seats won't be gone by the time I get tix $$$ together cause this is a pricey one. I haven't spent that much on a tix since coachella. But anything to see you guys!!!

Kisses~

See you in Miami!

Posted by: Mitchel at September 7, 2006 12:05 PM

I have to agree w/some of the others on here that I want to see YOU guys headlining and not opening for SN. Please do a small club tour again before you hit the road with SN.

Posted by: Dawn at September 7, 2006 12:16 PM

This was news I needed to hear! I bought my SuperNova tix in August and I'm always looking to see when The Panic Channel is playing. Now I've received two gifts...and it's not even X-Mas. I saw you at the Roxy private show and was amazed that day and couldn't wait for the cd release. ONe has been a constant to the point that I have OCD. In the pc, in the car, in my head. I love this album and I'm truely inspired by it. Steve is a great lyricist and brings everything to a blend. Can't wait to see you guys in February.

Kickass!I just purchased tix for the worchester show can't wait to see TPC and lucas rossi who is my personal fave from rockstar.

I guess I'm spoiled. On the Spring tour, I leaned against the stage for two of the shows so it's a serious bummer that for the SN/TPC show in NY, the best seats available at this point are in the nose-bleed section. There's about 8 of us in the NY Panic crew, so we're thinking of sitting as far back as we have to, in order to sit together. Together we'll raise a little more hell. It just won't be the same though. Better for you guys to be playing to a bigger crowd I'm sure, but for us, bad seats kills that intimate vibe, and I'm sure as hell going to miss it.

Spreading the love,
Deena

Posted by: Deena at September 7, 2006 07:42 PM

I agree with you, Deena. My ribs were sore for 2 days after TPC show in DC from leaning and being smashed up against the stage. It hurt so good! It saddened me to log on to the ticket site today and see the big-ass "seating chart." Oh well....I'm SO thankful I had the opportunity to go to one of the more intimate shows in May and meet the guys. It was a memorable night for sure!

Posted by: Kim at September 7, 2006 08:07 PM

Hey Dave. I was hoping to catch the Panic Channel tour with my daughter, but that isn't happening. Can't afford it now cause Supernova's ticket prices are nuts, and I don't have the travel money to go to another state from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Maybe check NM out sometime to get away Dave. Lots of places for mental space here. A lot of people still think it isn't part of the United States, ha ha, but seriously - it is. Also, if Panic Channel is touring with Supernova, well I think Supernova should be the ones opening for Panic Channel - well, actually, an intimate show with just Panic Channel would be the best-case scenerio, but hey, life doesn't always go the way you plan or hope for sometimes. That's what makes it interesting, que no? Peace and love from on top of a mesa.

Posted by: Miss S at September 7, 2006 09:03 PM

YEAH! I am SO happy you are going to Fargo. I bought tickets right after Rockstar! You know what is great, Seeing KISS at the same place and now you and SN! Xcited, thanx guys:)

Posted by: Danni at September 7, 2006 09:10 PM

Yes, it's true, the spoiled hardcore contingent are disappointed that we can't continue the fun in the way to which we've become accustomed, but any TPC is better than no TPC.

**QUESTION**
Please confirm that you'll be on ALL the tour dates, so we can buy our tickets with peace of mind! It would suck to get tix and then that's a show where you guys are not performing.

Yeah, Deena--we ARE going to raise hell in NYC, no matter where we have to sit! And I second the notion for a party bus to AC--I also spoke to Peebs about all of us getting a Borgata suite--will email you!

Love,
Sue

Before he was a rockstar . . . it's TPC's Steve Isaacs @ age 14:

Go, Steve!

Posted by: Bri@n at September 8, 2006 06:50 AM

Thanx for the laugh Brian. That was hysterical seeing Steve Isaacs on Starcade T.V.

Posted by: mary at September 8, 2006 08:13 AM

My pleasure, Mary. And rest assured, Steve, I'm not knockin' ya. Just playin', yo! I'm a TPC supporter and have paid to see 2 of your shows as well as purchased your excellent music.

Posted by: Bri@n at September 8, 2006 09:38 AM

Wahoo...the spoiled little bitch will be seeing you on 2.22.07!!! I have 5 months to look forward to seeing you guys kick my ass again!!!

Love and many Kisses~

Posted by: Chrissy at September 8, 2006 09:44 AM

Hey Niki,
I was worried that TPC wouldn't play in Des Moines, but WFA has TPC listed on the website. I have friends from KC making the trek. Good luck!

Posted by: Nic at September 8, 2006 10:04 AM

i can not wait! I hope you hit the spokane washington area! You guys kick ass!

Posted by: kelly at September 8, 2006 10:49 AM

I would have rather seen it not over shadowed or under--for that matter--by this whole tv thing. Would have made it less circus like...no offense, but I'm sure you know what I mean...maybe.

Well, it could be a good thing or a bad thing...let's see how it goes.

NY date sucks balls.

Posted by: Mersada at September 8, 2006 12:50 PM

Knowing that you guys are going to be on tour, makes me want to see the whole show twice as much if not more. Love your new band Dave. Keep rockin for us guys that eneded up with Day Jobs !

Posted by: Steve at September 8, 2006 05:16 PM

Hey, just checking out the new CD. Damn hot guys, absolutely 100% cool. If you come to Oz, please make the effort to play Perth. We'd love to see some good acts for once (not the **ss weak Coldplay and Nickleback types.)

I was soooo excited to hear the news of you guys touring with Super Nova!! My friend and I will be at the Dallas show--have had tickets for a few weeks now. We can hardly believe we get to see Dave twice in 4 months---we are planning to be at TPC's Gypsy Tea Room show in May. We are two stay at home mom's with 4 kids each--not your typical fans I am sure--But hey---we are hip moms that need a little excitement now and then!!! can't wait til February. Cheryl

Dave you are hiper-super-mega-cool!!!!

Hi Dave,

I have to admit that, when I installed OS2 warp in 1992 just to get internet (that was in Europe), I had no idea that 14 years later I'd be adding a comment to a band's website...

Do you get feedback from an older audience too? Old, well, I mean, ya know, 30-45 :)

Anyways.

I sent your link to a friend of mine in Belgium. He's a journalist and DJ with quite some weight in Europe. I hope that helps.

Have fun touring!

Lolli.

Posted by: Lolli at September 9, 2006 04:36 PM

Not surprised that I am not the only member of the older (gag) audience. Also that I can't afford the SN ticket prices and really have no desire to see them. Hope TPC can make it to Spokane in the future!!!!!!!!!!!! We have some awesome places to play here, The Big Easy would be a perfect spot.
Love ONe, listen to it all the time, one band that the kids and I both enjoy. (they finally are getting some music sense!

Posted by: fyreniyce at September 10, 2006 08:35 AM

I seriously never doubted this would be all you'd be giving us. I'm hoping the SN tour will do what I'm sure it's designed for.
I've just read a few really negative crits, and it's made me a bit sad. I have impeccable music taste - so why are there a bunch of reviewer arseholes who just don't get it? I'm thinking you're all big enough to look after yourselves, but I seriously doubt if it was me that I could avoid reading shitty reviews and then feeling horrible.
Over here, we are thinking of ways to turn up the pressure, as capitol don't seem to be doing a lot outside the US (actually, are they even doing a whole lot there?)
I am seriously tempted to get a bandit crew together and spray paint the sigil on a few large buildings.
Sorry, waffling

Hey I just read on dave's blog that there will still be a FALL tour! I am stoked! I was afraid the fall tour had turned into the SN tour...I've got my SN tour tickets already but I'd rather sell them & buy tickets for a small venue show. Come on boys, give us some dates & venues!!!
See you on the east coast....

Please bring the small intimate fall tour to san francisco or oakland or anywhere in the bay area peninsula, i'll drive there. i'm in monterey but can't think of where you can play here except maybe the Sunset Center where the 3 Tenors performed. Ha!
but i heard last time you were in S.F., it sold out in 5 minutes. we love you.

Just wondering if you guys need a nail tech to go on tour with you!
My dream is to become a Celebrity Nail Tech, and I noticed you always have wicked polish on.
Do you already have a personal nail tech or do you just let anyone do it?
I give an awesome MAN-e-cure and a mind blowing hand job....errrr... I mean hand massage.

Dave and Steve:

Why don't you come to Salem Civic Center in Roanoke, Virginia? Or better yet the Vines Center at Liberty University campus - just kidding!

Posted by: Charlotte at September 13, 2006 11:16 PM

Dave, You have always rocked no matter who you were playing with. But this time I think you have hit the motherload with TPC. Absolutley the best thing I have heard in years!
But being the 2nd banana on a tour with SN? Give me a break! TPC's stuff is way better than SN! And if I hear Luke-ass sing one more time, I think I will puke. Talk about taking the wrong turn in an otherwise stellar career path, Tommy, Gilby and Jason have decided to flush their reps completely down the shitter taking on Luke-ass. I give them 3 months and album sales will bottom out. The curious will buy, realize it sucks, and that will be the end of SN. And that is a damn shame. Tommy, Gilby and Jason deserve better.
Dave, great carrer move! TPC absofuckinlutely kicks ass!!!!
