Riveting...I have heard many adjectives used to describe Mancow's show - but riveting is a new one. I have no doubt it will be thoroughly entertaining.

The gods represent cosmic powers, remote in both time and space;
The demons are the unresolved complexes within the psyche that may be controlled and made to respond to magical suggestion by means of sigil and dream control. The demons are deposits in the psychic nervous system which are stirred to baleful activity when there is a serious blockage of energy. These blocks can be dissolved and the liberated energy redirected to creative, magical ends.

An early welcome from the Twin Cities! We've been waiting for a long time. I'm pretty new here so I haven't seen all the touristy places, but I tend to go for the sites of natural beauty. Two places I think are really pretty, and would be great locations for the local acoustic set: Minnehaha (yes, that Minnehaha) Falls and the Stone Arch Bridge. The acoustics at the Falls especially I think would be amazing. Nice and cool, great weather. Chamber of Commerce-type weather.
Don't listen to 93X while you're here. Listen to Drive 105.
We'll be sitting at the balcony, front row, upstairs, singing along like dorks. See ya then.

Damn! Sorry guys, I hate it when that happens!

GUYS!
EXCELLENT show last night. Steve you rocked the mic like no one else man...despite the shitty stand :-) Great meeting you after the show too.
Perk and Chris, you guys sounded awesome. I've never heard a better bass/drum combo. The BASS was in my FACE all night. Perk, you're a maniac, and the little acoustic set was very sweet. You guys should do two or three songs unplugged, maybe bust out a couple more Zep covers, maybe some Floyd?
Dave, what can I say man?!? Just a totally magical experience seeing you play live after listening to you for all of these years. You really drive it home man. I'm not sure how I knew which side of the stage you were going to be on, but I'm glad I guessed right. I was right between you and Steve. Lucky guess :-)
Have a blast on the rest of your tour!

You guys rocked the Double Door last night. It was a great show, the acoustic/sensitive song was awesome. Just one complaint: the photographer was starting to piss me off, where I was close to the stage people were starting to really rock out and dance to the music, then the photographer comes to stand in the middle of us and everyone kinda slowed down standing a little more trying not to bump the guy. I prefer live to pictures, plus how many pictures did he need to take? He was taking pics from beginning to end. Sure, I guess I'm an asshole but I was considering smacking that guy in the head. He was a distraction to the incredible show you guys were putting on. /Skateboarder who looked Dave in the eye earlier before the show.

Thanks for coming to Chicago!!!!
You guys put on a fantastic show.
The Dazed and Confused encore was mind blowing and earth shattering. Its was a great end to a great show.
I wasn't familiar with the tunes, but the playing was top notch. Not bad for a new band eh?
Dave you played with such passion and fire!
Perk...you gotta bring Banyan to Chicago...
Chris...tight! Turn up the bass
Steve...you got big shoes to fill, but you held your own, and you have your own sound, and it sounded good!

Hey guys! Wish I could have been at the show last night! Just wanted to share something with you (I already showed Kristen and Sue who made the lite brite for you). In honor of them and their creativity...
check this out-> http://panicasylum.thepanicchannel.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=71&stc=1&d=1149127083.
I used to use it to make random desktop backgrounds and stuff, thought you might like to play with it! You can find it at http://www.sfpg.com/animation/liteBrite.html#.

How great to be so self confident "The most spectacular day in broadcasting history." I love you guys, what a treat to get to know you.
Yo AJ, Dave can drive me home anytime! Hopefully he would come in for a cup of coffee.

The photographer's
pissed me off a little.
Rude!!!!
This did not ruin my experience though.
The guy's put on an awesome show!

Hey, you guys should get sidekicks!.... I'm not sure exactly how much you want to be connected to the web, but if you get one of those, then you can update your sites anywhere anytime since I'm pretty sure they can access the internet from anywhere. I know you're all busy touring and on the road, this way it's much more convienant to check in and then some of those antsy( I don't think I spelled that right) people who crave more updates can be satisfied...everybody wins.... I'm not quite sure why I thought of this, but it seemed like a good idea, so I just thought I would sugest it :)

I was at the Chicago show and have to say I was disappointed. Other than a couple of clearly killer songs (Go On comes to mind), the best word I would use to describe the Double Door performance is "uninspiring." And that really makes me sad, considering the talent on stage.
I've seen Dave play in JA for over 15 years and I thought his solo work was emotional, brooding and brilliant. I've always found SP's drumming was incredible - a real powerhouse sound that didn't rely on the standard 1/4 timekeeping. Granted a few of the song's at Thursday's show were new to me, but I'd heard most in one form or another over the past 6 months at this site. They just sound formulaic; by-the-book rockers that contain relatively tame, tired riffs and obligatory solos. Where's the spark, guys? Maybe that'll come in time, but at the present, I'm a doubter. I'd love to change my mind and maybe I will once the disc comes out.

hey vegasboy..you must have been the uptight dude to the left of FRI & me...hahaha..i bet your suit jacket was a little too tight...loosen up..this is a new band, and i dont think its meant to sound like a clone of certain members last 15 years worth of work....open minds are a beautiful thing...chicago was killer...id drive anywhere to see TPC again...Love Stacy

I love you too, Stacey. My mind is wide open, thanks. I'll have TPC album the day it comes out. Unfortunately, Dave's set a pretty high standard when it comes to his recorded music. It just seems like this one's a little more "average" than the rest. Not bad, just not brilliant.
