Sunday 10 - TPC

Feel free to ask us some questions today and we will try to answer them. Also, check out the new "Panic Network Control Panel". Now you can easily navigate your way through our little corner of the Internet. Get used to seeing this as we are currently installing this panel on all of our related sites.

Love the Control Panel!!
1. Have you guys worked out the set list? Will you be treating us to 'Dazed and Confused'?

2.You've said that your second leg of the tour, after ROCKSTAR, will include dates in the U.K., probably in the fall. Any chance of hooking it up with Circus Diablo?

3. Steve, Could you please put us out of our misery, and reveal the second Easter Egg, did we find it and not know it?

4. What's the mode of transportation for this mini tour, somehow I'm picturing a Partridge Family bus? Come on, Get Happy!!

5. Steve, I remember on the old Panic Channel site, you were posting lyrics to the songs, in your handwriting, did you save those? Any chance of seeing them again, either as part of album artwork, or incorporated on this site?

Looking forward to seeing you again!!
love,
jezzi(holding ON)

There are a few other new bands with famous members (Angels and Airwaves, The Raconteurs) that have been getting a lot of press and airplay. Are you guys going to get your name out there now, or wait until closer to the album release?

Posted by: Andrew at April 23, 2006 09:49 AM

Hi everyone.

Another question: As you are about to embark on this tour, what do you guys hope to get out of it? What are you looking forward to, and what are some of the more annoying aspects of touring?

All the best,

Will Go On ever see a physical release?

As big as online music buying has become, some of us still like having a real physical version, with real packaging and artwork.

Will the album come out on vinyl?

Posted by: Andrew / Rhinosaur6 at April 23, 2006 10:09 AM

CHANEY - I saw you perform several years ago when you were on tour with ALANIS. Did you ever jam with GARBAGE on that tour at any time?

PERK - Have you been influenced by any jazz drummers like MAX ROACH?

ISAACS - What is your favorite junk food to eat?

DAVE - Are there any B-Sides from TPC? If so, will they be released on this site.

TPC - Which city has the best local food?

Later,
Mike from NYC

TPC,

What was the number one challenge you had technically recording the album?

Dave,

Did you use the les paul to do rythmn track this time around?

"Go On" sounds great. If that track is any indication "sonically" of the rest of the album, then September will not get hear soon enough.

Why the choice to go for intimate venues on this Spring trek? (Not that I am complaining) Is this a continuance of the grass roots approach all of you have had with this project so far?

Will there be an official fanclub that we can join to receive perks such as being able to buy show tickets in advance or preorder your music?

Posted by: mortisha8 at April 23, 2006 11:34 AM

What mode of travel do you use? Plane or bus?

Posted by: Danni at April 23, 2006 11:48 AM

on average; how many bananas does a banana tree produce in its lifetime?

Posted by: Kevin at April 23, 2006 12:00 PM

steve- i heard you can sprout root vegetables from your eyes. is this true? if so what are your favourite eye foods to produce?

Posted by: kevin at April 23, 2006 12:03 PM

How much did it cost to make the album. Ballpark?

I'm sure you know alot of people and can pull some favours - the album sounds very lush and beautifully produced.

Did you ever consider going in raw with the recording? Just the honest band sound, With out over-dubs, extra effects processing etc?

Dave - If you get nominated for the R&R Hall of Fame for Jane's, would you be against playing one more time with Perry at the ceremony?

Posted by: ball licker at April 23, 2006 12:36 PM

someone sort of asked this already, but how do you guys feel about diving back into the industry with all the labels and predetermined ideas about the band and its members, are you guys worried? or are you just in this for the fun? thanks..

Posted by: bryce at April 23, 2006 12:41 PM

On playing live:

1. What's the best part?

2. After doing this for so long, does it ever become "just another day at the office" or is it still exciting and fun night after night?

3. We know what the experience is like from the audience looking up... what are you thinking and feeling while onstage looking down?

and echoing Mortisha's question...can we look forward to a fanclub with presales & other goodies???

Spreading the love,

Deena

oh, one more, just cause it's been bugging lately..dear Dave, howscome you never post anymore at the community...I'm telling you, it would sure spark up the over 1200 members that seem to be in hiding, though I've been told by someone that it's all my fault!!!
love,

Do you plan on having any opening bands at any of the gigs?

Posted by: Brett at April 23, 2006 01:10 PM

Dave, I'm so happy you're coming to San Diego! I'm still waiting for the tickets to go on sale, do you know when they'll be available?

Whatever happened to SWEET SUSIE McNEIL?

Who is going on the road with you guys? I'm assuming its your gig............who are you bringing along?

Can't wait to see you in ATL. The last two shows you guys cancelled just happen to be the ones that I flew to LA for.
Rock on,

I was wondering....since you all had so many songs that were recorded that you were looking to leave some off the new CD...have any of you begun to have ideas for new songs for future recording? You know, another album in a year or so? Maybe some of the songs recorded from this album would go on something in the future.

Stardreme
P.S. - I'm glad you didn't change the band name....

Posted by: Stardreme at April 23, 2006 02:00 PM

Hey guys,

First of all I wanted to say the control panel is a great idea, it's now easy to navigate between the different sites.
Thanks for adding 'Go On' to the site also, i've been playing it constantly and have played it to my friends who all agreed it rocks! I haven't been as excited about an albums release for years. I have a couple of questions, some may have already been asked.

1) What do you intend to do with the songs cut from the record like 'Go On', 'Unholy Ghost', 'Ashes' etc? These songs are great, I hope they get released in studio form be it as b-sides or online exclusives.

2)Watching the video on the site, at the end I hear an amazing Dave solo, which song is this taken from??

3) When can we expect to see the album in stores?

4) Any plans for any shows over here in the UK? You seem to have quite a following already over here, would be great to see you guys live!

That's it! Keep up the good work. Your music is truly special, I can't explain the feeling I got when I first heard 'Listen', it was amazing and I know that special feeling will be back when I listen to (ONe).

same question:
"Do you plan on having any opening bands at any of the gigs"
and...
When you come to gypsy for your Dallas date wanna hang out? **bats lashes**

Posted by: Chelsea at April 23, 2006 05:10 PM

;) okay...now, dave, i'm confident that all this stuff i've downloaded through your site, to listen to your radio, isn't unleashing any nasty things onto my computer...like where you'll be able to monitor all the weird webpages i visit, right?! lol! it's just that you boys have such kind and trustworthy faces that made me go blindly forth with it.

p.s. i think what you're doing is wonderful, btw. i simply love it! ;)

As far as I can tell there will be 12 tracks on the album. And from what I remember Steve has a superstition of sorts against even numbers. What prompted an even number of songs on the album?

Posted by: Aaron at April 23, 2006 07:39 PM

What does it tell you about a man's character (read between the lines, Dr. Freud) when he publishes semi-nude photos of ex-girlfriends in a worldwide-released autobigoraphy? (still the love the guy's work, tho - photog and otherwise...)

Posted by: sandbagsully at April 23, 2006 08:08 PM

I'm referring to Antwan the Swan and "Scar Tissue," not the Neil Strauss book...

Posted by: sandbagsully at April 23, 2006 08:23 PM

Nice site. You guys are such geeks (that's a compliment, dood). I'm hopin' Heather (The Butterfly Girl) and I won't have a gig when you hit Atlanta so we can catch the show.

Posted by: whinton at April 23, 2006 08:44 PM

Are you guys gonna be playing songs from your previous bands (Skycycle and Jane's Addiction?)

Posted by: Armin at April 23, 2006 09:10 PM

This question goes out to Steve... Steve, you said that the album would have an odd-numbered amount of tracks, either 11 or 13... however according to this very site, it seems to be a very EVEN-numbered 12 tracks on the CD. What's the game?
